Val Sanders
Val Sanders - Managing Director, Conference Online Pty Ltd
Val has a background in management. First through twenty five years in Law Practices ultimately holding the position of Office Manager/Paralegal of a large legal firm and later in her own two Travel Agencies. Val is the vision behind Conference Online as she saw the gap in the market place and is passionate about maximising customer service through technological solutions. She brings to the company her extensive experience in corporate management, the travel industry, conference management and e-commerce.

Michael Chase-Smith - Director, Conference Online Pty Ltd
Michael has over 27 years experience in the technology industry, the last 18 years providing consulting services to the travel and conference industries. Michael has held senior management positions with travel and technology organisations in Australia and overseas and has been involved with the growth of one of Australia's leading Corporate Travel Management Companies, World Travel Professionals since 2002. Michael has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
Jock Robertson
Jock Robertson - Legal Counsel
Jock acts in the capacity of in-house legal Counsel. He is an Australian Lawyer with 30 years general legal practice experience including that of Senior Partner of a large non metropolitan Australian Legal Firm. Jock has travelled extensively throughout the world and now devotes most of his working time to Conference Online.
Brian Hodge - Global Events & Marketing Manager
Brian has extensive experience in putting together memorable events domestically and across the globe. His experience comes from roles such as Publicity and Promotions for Sony Music, National Events & Marketing Manager for Regional Express Airlines and Events & Groups Manager for a large Sydney Travel & Events Management Group. Brian has also had acting roles on Australia Television in shows such as 'Home & Away' as well as performing in the hit musical 'Shout'.
Narda Skelton
Narda Skelton - Senior Systems Project Manager
Narda has worked in web and multimedia development since 1996, freelancing at various high profile companies in Sydney such as Adobe, Macquarie Bank, ShowAds Interactive, Brand Dialogue (formerly the digital arm of Young & Rubicam), Coca Cola Amatil and Armstrong, Miller and McLaren. In 2000 she returned to Queensland and began specialising in database driven web sites, systems analysis and usability design, working at several boutique creative agencies and the eMarketing department of Tourism Queensland.
  Joshua Zhang - Software Engineer
Joshua has lived and worked in China and has vast experience in Wireless Union Systems, Storage Management Systems, Geographic Information System, Web Base Data System. Joshua has now settled in Australia and has become a vital part of the upgrades of Conference Online technology.

Nathan joins Conference Online after many years experience in the media, entertainment and corporate arenas. Born in Sydney he has worked as producer / presenter for Foxtel , Channel 10, Optus vision and a variety of corporate clients. He has also served on the board of directors of the AIDS trust of Australia. Joining us after working for Flight Centre corporate, Nathan brings with him a wealth of experience including being the entertainment co - ordinator for the Sydney Food and Wine Fair, Hyde Park, Sydney for five years running. His knowledge and experience across a wide range of industries and events makes him an ideal addition to the team.

Emma Cogan
Emma Cogan - Event Coordinator
Emma has previously worked in the hospitality, legal and security industries. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Business in Convention and Event Management degree as well as a Diploma in Public Relations.
Emma has worked at the Splendour in the Grass Festival and the Big Day Out and has also been involved in a number of sports as a player, coach, referee and tournament administrator.

With a background in Marketing, Event Management and Public Relations she has a strong understanding of the industry, recently completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing at Wollongong University. Involved in the 2008 Boost Juice conference and World Youth Day 2008 she has had the pleasure to work with different companies all over Australia.

Deborah is a founding member of the Northern Territory branch of the national peak body, Meetings, Events Australia (MEA) and has over 15 years experience organising events of various types – from small to large conferences, Awards nights, product launches and numerous special events in diverse indoor and outdoor venues for a wide range of clients; planned, designed, developed, produced, co-ordinated and managed hundreds of successful meetings/events for some of the most prestigious corporations, associations, and government entities in the Northern Territory and around Australia.

Equipped with a Bachelor of Business majoring in marketing and public relations coupled with over twelve years corporate event management experience, Marianne brings to the table incredibly diverse total conference management understanding.
Since 1996, Marianne has been responsible for organising a multitude of conferences throughout Australia including events for Qantas, Starwood, the Urban Development Institute of Australia, Boeing Australia and Nutrimetics to name only a few. In addition, Marianne has worked in a consultancy role designing venue management operating systems for a number of South East Queensland venues and specialised in online registration services programming with in a family business throughout 2004 and 2005.

Stephen has over 20 years experience covering finance, sales and marketing working for a number of large corporate organisations in various executive positions. More recently Steve has been an event and sponsorship manager with companies such Mercedes-Benz and BMW Australia. In these roles he has dealt with large corporate companies, charity groups, Local and Federal Government and small business.
Christine Hewitt

Christine Hewitt - Distributor for Conference Online Western Australia
Christine has previously worked in the USA as a legal secretary and later moved into the real estate industry. Spanning a period of 14 years in these industries, she honed her skills in marketing and public relations.

Since returning to Australia, she has worked in the tourism industry where, for the past 10 years, she has been extensively involved in organising large international tourism events, as well as the development of and training in website and tourism database systems. She brings to the team a wide range of organisational and marketing skills.

Sandra has been delivering conference and events around New Zealand for over nine years. She owns New Zealand's leading indigenous event and conference management company Auaha Event and Conference Management. Sandra is pasionate about her work to which she brings strong organisation and management skills, enhanced by her creative thinking and experience in small business managemetn, law, audult teaching, and various administrative positions both nationally and internationally.
Her experience is complimented with a National Diploma in Conventions & Incentives, NZ Diploma in Business, NZIM Diploma in Management, Executive Certificate in Event Management, Legal Executive Certificate and Certificate in Adult Teaching
Louis Etienne Louis Etienne - Distributor, Conference Online Global
Louis has over 15 years experience in senior executive roles in the finance and business intelligence field. He was the founding Group Financial Controller of Telstra Country Wide and was in the position for 7 years. At the time of leaving Telstra in 2008, Louis was the Head of Business Operations of Telstra Business for 2 years.

Louis holds a postgraduate Diploma in Business (Accounting) from Victoria University. He is also a member of The Institute of Company Directors.

Jules is the Sales Executive for Conference Online UK Ltd and has over 30 years experience in the Conference, Incentive and Events Management industry covering a vast range of clients and sectors. His experience covers all levels of management including 20 years as Managing Director and CEO for one of the UK’s top conference & incentive agencies.

Over the last 9 years, he has worked with Satdat.com Limited, a company specialising in the provision of services to the events industry. These services include specialised recruitment of personnel at all levels and consultancy for event management software solutions.
Nerella Campigotto

Nerella Campigotto - Distributor for Conference Online Canada
Nerella has over 20 years of international experience in business development and the management of business units. Born and raised in Switzerland and educated in Australia, Nerella started her career as a Business Analyst before entering the world of corporate language services as District Director of Australian operations for a multi-national company. From there she moved to Japan where she directed a European Executive Training Program in Tokyo, followed by a transfer to the US to manage two San Francisco operations.

After moving to Vancouver, she joined an international recruitment firm to direct their business development activities in the US, the UK and New Zealand. The strong international expertise Nerella acquired while living and working in various countries has given her a truly global perspective.

Jai Sengupta - Distributor for Conference Online India
Jai Sengupta has spent 36 years in the Aviation and Travel Industry across the world. During his 34 year career with Air India , Jai was in charge of the Revenue Management Division and worldwide pricing at HQ. whilst working in the Commercial Department of Air India.

He was also involved with setting up code share agreements with United Airlines, Air France , Singapore Airlines amongst others. He represented Air India as a member of Indian civil aviation delegations for bilateral discussions with other countries. Starting his career in New Delhi in 1970 , Jai held senior Management positions in Nepal, Japan , Singapore and Kenya apart from India.

Julie Shepherd MN RN - Distributor Singapore
Julie has over thirty years experience in the nursing profession - as a clinical nurse; university nursing lecturer (University of Canberra and Nanyang Polytechnic Singapore); and nursing advisor with a regulatory authority (the Queensland Nursing Council) prior to taking up the position as the Managing Director of Bower Bird Information Services, Nursing Asia Singapore and Conference Online Singapore.

Julie is the convener and conference organiser of the “Nursing Leadership” and “Recruitment and Retention in the Health Workforce” conferences and trade exhibitions; a member of the board of the Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA), a committee member of the Hunter Valley Chapter Committee of the RCNA and Editor, National Nursing Leadership Network, RCNA.
